As a man, one always feels oneself to have imited insight into the feminine and to the inner life of women.
This work holds some imaginative attempt in that direction composed of imaginary houses, candles, the moon,winged things, waves, leaves, earthly and heavenly mysteries.
For the last several years this probing of nature, desire, and the interaction betweeen inner-outer, light -dark, masculine-feminine, arbitrary-arranged, past-present has been a major theme of my work.
LADDER OF ANGELS
This is the first window where the composition began by arranging glass on a light tableand not by drawing. There are several chunks of thick dalles de vere glass included and the painted glass is from a painting by Fra Lippo Lippi. Original stained glass art by Joseph Tracy of Brookside Glassworks
